It does not apply to footage captured by security systems we install for our customers — see Section 10 for details on that.

Important distinction: This Privacy Policy does not cover footage captured by security systems we install for our customers. That footage belongs to the property owner and is governed by their own privacy practices and applicable law.
SecureVista Tech does not access customer footage except in the following cases:
- During a service or maintenance visit, when necessary to diagnose a technical issue
- When you explicitly request our assistance reviewing footage
- In response to a valid legal order (subpoena, court order, or law enforcement warrant)
- For cloud storage customers, as necessary to maintain the cloud infrastructure (we do not view footage content)
For customers using our cloud storage service, footage is encrypted in transit and at rest. We never share or sell footage to third parties.
11. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Security systems we install may incidentally capture footage of children on your property. That footage is controlled by you as the property owner and is not subject to this policy.
12. Policy Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
- Notify active customers by email
- Post a prominent notice on our website
Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
